First Date Tips
First date tips can help you avoid all of the typical first date pitfalls. I don't blame people for not wanting to go on first dates. The pressure, the awkward silences and all the uncertainty is too much for most people. But it doesn't have to be like that. Follow a few of the guidelines and trust me you will be looking forward to your first dates.
Change Your Attitude
First date tips are especially important if you are worried, stressed or afraid this will negatively affect your first date.It will be a bad vibe that both of you may struggle to overcome. The way to change your attitude is to think of it as a game. Your first date is like a challenge, like a fun game it doesn't have to be any more serious than that. First of all you have NOTHING to lose. You do not owe this person anything. If it turns out to be a disaster salvage what you can, a night out, a great story for your friends, hopefully a free dinner or drink.
The First Date Ice Breaker
Chances are he will be as nervous as you are.Even if he appears calm, cool and collected as human beings we are all built with a certain degree of insecurity. One way to break the ice is to address it head on. When you meet or he picks you up can start off with asking him if he's nervous. Once you talk about it then it's not as bad and you can move on to just enjoying the experience. Another great way to break the ice is through humor and laughter. Try and have a good time, this will relieve tension and stress.
Don't Expect Too Much on a First Date
Part of the problem with first dates is the expectations we develop going in.Maybe he'll be THE ONE. This is asking for trouble and putting way too much pressure on you and your date. When I go on a first date I have a little conversation with myself: #1 I'm going to have fun no matter what he's like #2 If it's really bad I'll make up an excuse and get out of there #3 I don't kiss on a first date, therefore I don't have to worry about any of that stuff.
