Getting over a relationship can sometimes feel like mission impossible.
When trying to get over a broken heart it's important to remember that despite how much pain you may be feeling, this too will pass. As with any great loss involves a grieving process. There is no need to rush and try to get past the pain. It will only end up coming back to haunt you if you have not allowed yourself to fully process your loss. Even if it was your decision to end the relationship and it was not a good relationship it is still a loss. It is still the end of something important and therefore there is grief. I know women who are really hard on themselves because after leaving a bad relationship, like an abusive one, they feel bad for feeling sadness. Do not deny yourself your feelings, whatever dire feelings of grief and sadness you may have, they will pass with time.
